Spring: Rainbow of Flavors K-4th
Our chefs-in-training will create a variety of recipes that cover the full spectrum of the rainbow! From Orange Tarts, to Blueberry Cheesecake, to Purple Coleslaw, to Rainbow Veggie Kebabs, this session uses a wide array of colorful ingredients both familiar and new. Foundational cooking skills will be taught, including proper techniques for baking, roasting, measuring, mixing, slicing, dicing, and, of course, kitchen safety!
Bop & Groove K-2nd
Does your child love to dance around the house to their favorite songs? If so, then this is the perfect class for your little mover. This high energy beginner dance class with teach your child the basics in both jazz and hip hop helping to improve their rhythm, coordination and balance.
Slap Shot Floor Hockey K-6th
You shoot, you SCORE! No longer just a game for a frozen pond, Floor Hockey is a one size fits all game of speed, coordination, and thrills. This gym class favorite is now available after school. Game Play and skill work to include stick handling, dodging, ball control, and of course shooting will be introduced and practiced from week to week. Learn the different ways to put a shot on goal by incorporating wrist shots, slap shots, snap shots, and the backhand. Slap Shot Floor Hockey just might be the first stop on the road to the Stanley Cup… All aboard!
Hungry Hungry Science K-2nd
Need some science to sink your teeth into? In Hungry Hungry Science we will explore different scientific concepts using food as our main vehicle for experimentation. We will not only use ingredients to explain different ideas through simple recipes, but make edible experiments as well to learn about reactions, acids & basis, biology, nutrition and more!
